Larysa Eliuk Matchak Fine Art

I specialize in original acrylic and mixed media art that aims to please the senses and push boundaries. My artwork strives to provide viewers with an escape into another reality.

As an emerging artist, it is my pleasure and passion to be able to have the opportunity to display my art in public places.

Although I have painted and shown my art over 15 years, my art has always been an evolving process. In recent years, I have started to experiment with subject matter and materials. While still depicting organic landscapes and florals, my paintings have taken on a more abstract and expressive nature incorporating bold color application and pouring techniques to paint the images. My fascination of the organic form and natural elements and shapes found in flora, fauna,  rock and mineral formations from the earth continue to inspire me.  Gradually moving from more impressionistic painting techniques to abstract have allowed me to experience a heightened sense of freedom while I paint, as well as a deeper understanding of color, an appreciation for the flexible and unpredictable qualities of mixed media, as well as a deeper connection to the earth and nature.
